Center for Families

The center offers two faculty fellowships, the Kontos and Hancook awards. The Kontos award, named for the founding director of the center, Susan Kontos, supports the development of children and youth. The Hancook award, named for Ann Hancook, a former associate dean for Extension in the College of Consumer and Family Sciences, focuses on the health, well-being, or development of adults as individuals, parents, or partners.
