Deborah Myers Cook

Deborah Myers Cook is an independent certified financial planner (CFP) and consultant with Financial Network Investment Corporation. She helps her clients put their financial affairs in order to achieve personal freedom and financial security.

Cook is a 1967 Purdue University Consumer and Family Sciences (CFS) graduate. Her professional background includes marketing for the National Dairy Council, product development in the food industry, and teaching. She currently serves on the Purdue CFS alumni board.

The goal of financing her three daughters’ college educations led Cook to the financial services industry in 1984. She earned her CFP designation from the College of Financial Planning in Denver, Colorado, in 1989. She has served as the past president and board member of the International Association for Financial Planning.

Cook and her husband, Ron, live in Carmel, Indiana, and enjoy a farm in Wayne County on weekends. She credits growing up on an Indiana farm, her experiences as a 10-year 4-H member, and her education at Purdue as the basis for her professional success.
